A father and his two-year-old son desperately seek shelter in a decaying world. A moving and chilling story of unconditional love between a father and son.

Author’s thoughts on the book:
It’s one of my most personal novels. The one I put my whole soul into, and if I never write anything else again, it would be okay because this one is the one that defines me. I hope to draw a genuine emotional response from a reader; I certainly horrified myself while writing it.

Sanctuary: Through the Waters of Lethe is a psychological drama following former architect Kyle Schuster and his two-year-old son Sean. After a global pandemic, father and son try to reach the cottage where Kyle spent his summer holidays as a child. It is the only place the desperate father believes will keep him and his son safe. But their journey to the sanctuary reveals a shocking secret.

A response from a reader:
Wtf? What did I just read? Mind-blowing! I can honestly say that this is one of the best novels I’ve read in my life. Now I have to check what Lethe means :).
